‘It’s Definitely the Cream First’ Tea Towel
We have never really given the great debate of cream or jam first an awful lot of consideration. Having now educated ourselves by trauling through the surprising amount of literature on said subject, we are happy to confirm that the Devon way is indeed, the correct way.
The biggest point that we would like to make is that of a practical nature. Quite simply if you put the jam on first, the cream slides straight off. When trying to be elegant during tea time, we suggest to save any unnecessary embarrassment that you do as we suggest. Cream First. Jam Second.
