Bracken Tor
Rosemary & thyme tossed carefully with other splendid herbs to give a beautiful soft infusion.
What could be possibly more quintessentially English than the old fashioned combination of Rosemary and Thyme. Our mind’s eye takes us to a bygone day, where carriages rolled and hats were tilted.
These beautiful herbs when combined in careful proportion with lemongrass, cinnamon and lavender, transport us to that English cottage garden, where roses bloom around the door.

Rather devastatingly, there is no Bracken Tor. It sits on the map, but horrifyingly does not actually exist.
Yet bracken itself seems synonymous with the moorland and was once harvested as an important crop used for animal bedding and as a roofing material. As modern day materials developed, these practices dropped out of favour, but the Bracken had taken hold and its spread could not be culled.
