Loose Leaf or Bio Pyramids?

This tea is available in loose form or in our beautiful bio pyramids. Our biodegradable tea pyramids are suitable for composting and are completely free of microplastics. Made from a material called SOILON which contains lactic acid derived from corn starch, they are completely biodegradable and decompose within 30 days.

The dangers posed by microplastics on the environment are well documented. What people are less aware of are the staggering amounts of microplastics present in most tea bags. When steeped in hot water, they release billions of microplastic particles into the mug, each one the size of a grain of pollen.

When purchased in loose form, this tea is sealed within a biodegradable cornstarch pouch. So when buying our teas, whether in loose or pyramid form, you can do so safe in the knowledge that our tea bags and packaging materials are completely biodegradeable and free of microplastics.

Idyllic on a warm summer's day, the lazy grasses on the gentle slopes sway quietly on the vast expanse that is Green Hill.

A remote and desolate part of the central moor, there is a lost familiarity here. In the winter the mist swirls, and the clouds lie so low that the feeling of tranquility & solitude is overwhelming.
